I have the honor of sharing a passage with you today that, you know, Jimmy had asked

me to speak at the marriage conference and then later, like, you know, would you stay

and teach on Sunday and then last week he was like, hey, can you teach out of John 17?

And there's something very sacred about John 17 that God has been showing me.

You know, when I was in seminary, they would say, okay, think through the passage you're

about to teach and understand what genre it's in because you kind of don't teach.

I mean, all of this, obviously, is sacred.

It's a word of God.

But you have to understand some of it is more poetic and you need to teach it that way.

Some of it is prophecy.

Some of it are the epistles, some are parables and aren't meant to be taken in the wrong

way or to such an extreme, you know, just understand where you're at.

And something God has been revealing to me is John 17.
