When we think about the child, which is I think the part of this that we're all the most

sensitive about, you know, I have a daughter that's nine years old, I have a son that's 14.

We are fairly in control of their environment.

We started our own school.

We didn't like what was going during COVID, but I know so many of you out there are trusting

the school system you're in, you're busy.

I get it.

There's only so many fires we can put out in a lifetime here.

But imagine that you find out that maybe your kindergarten or first grader, maybe

your fourth grader, they read this book in school.

This is one of those and we've seen it all, seen the protest at school board meetings.

And here's just a couple of excerpts.

But this is basically just the idea is this is a story about a little girl that's born

and she thinks she's a boy.

And you know, some very, you know, it's sweet but confusing art.

There's even a boy in here that sees himself as a boy that's wearing a dress all around.

So it's all sort of thrown up in the air, at least from what, you know, story books used

to have in it when I was a child.

But here's just a couple of excerpts.

You just get a sense of what is being read to some children in this country and the schools.

When a baby is born, a grown up says it's a boy or it's a girl.

If a brand new baby could talk, sometimes that baby might say no, I'm not.
