| 0:00.0 | Welcome to our daily Rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. |
| 0:06.0 | Amen. Let's call the mind all those we've promised to pray for. |
| 0:10.0 | Today we continue to meditate on the fourth commandment and specifically on the way a father is to be a provider and protector. |
| 0:22.0 | The Trinity starts with a father. |
| 0:25.0 | God himself starts with a father. |
| 0:28.0 | So too with the human race. |
| 0:30.0 | Humanity starts with a father. |
| 0:32.0 | So too with our individual families. The father begins a |
| 0:36.3 | family. But of course sometimes that's all dads ever seem to do is to start a family and then go on to neglect it. |
| 0:46.0 | And everyone knows what damage this causes a family. |
| 0:50.0 | Families need dads, and dads know know every dad knows that he has two particular |
| 0:57.2 | responsibilities for his family. He must work to provide for his family and he must work to protect his family. |
| 1:06.9 | And the only way any family feels safe and secure is if they have a dad who will never quit working to provide and to protect his family. |
| 1:17.0 | But again, that providing and protecting can't just be at the physical level. A man, if he's going to fulfill his |
