Episode 18, Kara's Flying Circus.

The maidens are given their first official mission from the Sisters of Sorrow and are sent to find a missing agent named Montgomery Smith in the desert city of Bastards Breach.

They follow a trail to the entrance of the catacombs where Montgomery has reportedly been deep undercover.

As the maidens continue forward, the trapdoor entrance unexpectedly pops open and mystifying magical mistwoffs through causing Sae and Arnadale to trip magical balls.

Pushing forward into the underground tunnels, the three navigate past pits away from alluring strange fay creatures

through an underground encampment of refugees until they come to the spot where

Montgomery has last been seen. No sign of him, but they discover something very peculiar in his

abandoned campsite, a tiny demon by the name of Bartleby stored in an enchanted jar.

Arnoldel tosses the demon into her bag of holding and they descend down a dark pit that extends deep into the earth.

As they get close to the bottom, they are greeted by white insectoid predators.

Kara charges headfirst into battle, throwing herself off of Soye's rope of climbing,

and onto one of these strange lobster-like creatures.

Episode 19, Making Waves.

We begin with the maidens in the midst of battle with the insectoid fissures.

Arnadale unleashes her dark warlock powers through casting hunger of Hadar, releasing the milky rubbing tentacles and

slurping whispers onto the creatures.

Through their valiant efforts, the foes are defeated and they continue onward after taking a short rest.
