All right, now before we dive in, let's remember what the heck happened last time.

Last time on Venture Maidens, our heroes continued to battle the tower mimic from the inside.

After narrowly surviving a fight with the central staircase of the animated tower,

they entered the final chamber at the top.

The maidens made quick work of the tower's brain,

but the victory was short-lived when a gargantuan hand lifted the tower's roof.

A booming voice chastised the chess armies below for fighting and demanded to know what the maidens were doing here.
