Last time on the venture maidens, our heroes took a snooze

and then set off to explore more of the maze.

And to their surprise, they found another creature inside a bard named chess

after a suspicion-fueled exchange chess and the maidens eventually agreed to divide the rest of the work the work

searching for keeper game pieces. With a tentative alliance formed the team

headed through another gate and woke up to find themselves entirely

made of wood.
