tackle fat. What's good, what's bad, and what's under debate. So fat is a very hot topic in health and medicine today. In the past we talked about

fat as always being bad for us and so back in the 90s and even the early 2000s, people were convinced that all types of fat were bad.

And this led a lot of food manufacturers to create fat-free foods, and what they would do is take the fat out of the food

and replace it with sugar and what we're finding more and more now is that sugar

is the worst type of food for us. It causes inflammation, can cause us to even age prematurely

and increase our risk of many, many different diseases. So, fat is no longer the enemy or is it? So what I'm going to

cover today are the types of fat that we know are good for you, the types of fat that we know are bad for you, and then there's some that are still a bit under debate.

All right? So let's get started talking about fat. So there are four types of fat. There's mono one saturated fat. There are

polyuns and these are separated into the omega-3 and omega-6 fats, there are saturated fats and there are trans-fats.
