All right, we, I told you all that we would start a fast as a church body.

And so I'm going to give you some pointers on fasting today.

I did a message a while back.

You can probably get it on the internet

where you can definitely get it on our website. Biblical fasting. I think I did two parts.

It was a two-part series back in 2013, and that can help you as well. But it's good to start

a fast at the beginning of the year, and I'm going to give you some reasons why it's good to start the fast.

Not, I mean, not necessarily at the beginning of the year, but it's just, you know, we look at the beginning of the year as a beginning of something.

So it's always good to start things off a certain way.

And now you've got the holidays out of the way, and, you know, you probably put on a little weight, you know, through the holidays,

so it ain't going to hurt you to go on and push your plate back for a while.

Actually, it's probably help you.

Amen. Get them greens and chitlins out of you.

Hopefully you stop eating chitlins.

I just want to pray that you're going to stop.

Amen.

Because anything doesn't smell like that,

ain't supposed to be cooked.
