highs as the market continues to lose the old leaders.

The conference call is kicking off

right now we'll bring you all the latest headlines. But first we start off

with the market sell off the Dow was down nearly 700 points at the lows of the

session driven by fears of a looming government shutdown for more on that

let's get to Elon Moy in Washington DC.

Eilin Melissa this has been a really fast moving story so let me just break down where

we're at right now.

The House is preparing to take a key procedural vote

on that short-term spending bill that would fund the government

through February 8th.

Now that bill would include roughly $ billion dollars in funding for the border wall

as well as about eight billion dollars in funding for disaster relief.
