taxes lift stocks. Is this just the beginning of a year-end rally? We will

The latest is that Comcast is in talks talks not to buy all of Fox, but to buy certain assets.

Those entertainment assets would not include the broadcast network likely a similar

assortment of assets that Disney was interested in.

So the entertainment assets plus Sky in the UK and Star in India.

I think those two international assets are particularly important because Comcast, though

its cable assets are here in the US.

NBC Universal is obviously more global, but this would really allow Comcast if made this purchase

to position itself more as an international company.

So we have confirmed with the source of the talks are still happening between Fox and Disney

and that it would be with a structure similar to what Disney is pursuing.
