We start off with some major headlines out of the chip space and Vida giving up early gains

after unveiling its debut suite of autonomous driving tech at the Consumer Electronics Show

last night.

AMD shares meantime dropping even after CEO Lisa Sue reaffirmed her company's commitment to hiring

AI forward talent.

The real moneymakers today, though, were the memory names, Sandusk, Western Digital,

Seagate soaring to all-time highs in Sandus' second best day since being spun off from Western Digital

last February.

The names riding high as Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the increased need for memory

across the AI product stack.

Today's move adding to recent momentum in the space, Sandus nearly tripling in just the last

three months, while Western Dig, Seagate making significant gains as well.

Now, once upon a time, all these names were commodity names.
