The stocks higher across the board with the Dow jumping, almost 600 points to close at fresh records.

Warned that shortly, but first, let's get to the latest developments on the U.S. capture of Venezuela and leader Nicholas Maduro over the weekend. The energy sector, front and center, Chevron, the only U.S. oil major, still in Venezuela, is surging 5 percent for its best day since April 9th. Other names, including Exxon and Valero, also firmly in the green. Oil services stocks is measured by the OAH, adding over 5%, while the

underlying commodity rose modestly. WTI crude settling nearly 2% higher to top $58 a barrel. Defense

stocks also catching a bid, the ITA, the I shares aerospace and defense ETF, hitting all-time highs,

drone makers, air environment, Red Cat, where each up double digits.

Other winners include Axon and Northrop Grumman.

And traders also adding to precious metals positions, gold rising almost 3% while so-called digital gold, Bitcoin,

topping 94,000 for the first time since December 10th.

Maduro today pleading not guilty to narco-terrorism charges in a New York City court.
