Let's begin with that late day sell off. Major indexes close near their

lows of the day. S&P down nearly two and a half. As Nasdaq sheds nearly

three, only one doubt component leaks out again. Every sector down

financials and tech lead the losses. Move comes, of course, as investors

count down to the one of the most important data points in recent memory,

just over 15 hours until we get may CPI, the latest indication of whether

we've hit peak inflation. How will it shape investors going into the weekend?
