But we start off with a mega media deal that is rocking Wall Street, AT&T announcing

a whopping $43 billion deal to combine its Warner Media unit with Discovery.

Let's get to Julia Borson who's got all the details and the analysis, Julia.

Well, the combination of Discovery and Warner Media creates one of the biggest media

companies in the world.

Now, Discovery brings to this global sports rights reality.

TV strength in that is designed to complement Warner Media's news domestic sports as well

as the original content and HBO and HBO Max.

Now, together, the company spends $20 billion on content annually and CEO David Zazov says

they plan to spend more.

This is a play for scale and advertising and also in streaming, Discovery Zazov who will

run the combined company, saying they could reach as many as 400 million subscribers.
