Tim Seymour, Karen Feinerman, Dan Nathan, and Guy Dommie will get to the comeback in

just a minute, but we do want to start with the breaking news from Fed Chair Powell.

He just finished up an interview on NPR Marketplace, making some potentially market-moving

comments saying that a soft landing may depend on factors.

The Fed does not control, also saying that two 50 basis point hikes in the next two meetings

would be appropriate.

He's also talking about what a soft landing means, a soft landing means hitting 2 percent

inflation with a strong labor market.
