Aaman. Yeah, hi Melissa, the president stood in the Rose Garden today and unveiled this plan.

It's one of his key campaign promises was to lower the price of prescription drugs for consumers.

Now the plan stopped short of letting Medicare negotiate directly with the drug

companies, but it did have a couple of key elements.

And here's what the president rolled out today including

rebate sharing and Medicare drug plans promoting generic drugs and also requiring drug manufacturers

to publish list prices for drugs in their television advertisements.
