Plus Disney out with earnings moments ago, the stock is volatile after hours as a conference call with

CEO Bob Eiger is underway.

to tell us what it all means.

And we start right there with Disney.

Our own Julia Borsen spoke with CEO Bob Eiger moments ago at Disney's headquarters.

Julia.

Well, Melissa, it was much better than expected, both top and bottom line results at Disney's

two biggest divisions.

That's the theme parks as well as the movie studio that drove the company's upside surprise in terms

of earnings and revenue in this quarter but perhaps most surprising considering all

the focus on the Media Networks Division which is Disney's biggest division that has been suffering

that has been suffering from both cord cutting and advertising declines,

was that that division reported better than expected both earnings and revenue as cord cutting numbers start to slow.
