this monster night for earnings Microsoft alphabet visa Starbucks AMB just a

few of the names on the move after reporting within the last hour many of

those analysts calls just getting underway we've got wall to wall coverage all

hour long our team reporter standing by to break down all the results let's

kick things off at the biggest of them all reporting tonight Microsoft

Josh listen got the numbers Josh so Melissa remember heading into this

report Microsoft was up about 20% so far this year but now giving some of

the back in the after hours is for the report itself Microsoft beating on

the bottom of the top and turning to the segments revenue and productivity and

business processes 13.6 billion that was increased of 15% within that

office 365 commercial revenue growth of 22% LinkedIn revenue increasing 25%

then there's intelligent cloud that was 15.1 billion increasing 23% within that

division Azure revenue growth 50% 46% constant currency and finally more

personal computing 13 billion and increase of 19% Windows OEM revenue they're

increasing 10% Xbox content and services revenue jumping 34% I did

check in with Kurt materno over at Evercore he covers the name Kurt said

Microsoft posted strong overall results here he did note there was a very high

bar he said the stock goes up huge heading into this print and Azure 46%

constant currency Kirk saying that was slightly below the buy side whisper

number more in the high 40s and that is weighing on the stock he says here at
