One of our traders says not even close more on that straight ahead, but we start off with

a bombshell out of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is stepping down as CEO.

He will become the company's executive chairman, the stock, hire in the Aftar Resession.

Let's get straight to Deed Robosa with the details, Debo.

Melissa, bombshell indeed, Bezos, handing over the reins after Amazon's strongest year

in terms of revenue and profitability.

But this is also a challenging time for the company.

It's facing labor issues as its workforce surpassed a million employees last year.

And of course, there's antitrust scrutiny which isn't expected to go anywhere.

In fact, just after the news broke, Republican representative Ken Buck tweeting out, quote,

I have some questions for Mr. Jassy.

He has of course been a key voice in tech antitrust debates.
