I am pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and I am joined by

Carl Truman, who is pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Ambler, Pennsylvania,

and Professor of Church History at Westminster Theological Seminary.

We are also joined by Amy Bird, the housewife theologian, and we are here to have a

casual conversation about things that count.

Carl, I was thinking just a little while ago, you compared me some time ago with a particular

American rock and roll star of the 70s who also had a brief comeback in the 90s.

I won't mention who it is.

But it got me thinking that would make you maybe something like the Elton John of Reform

Theology, right?

You know, I listen to this radio channel in Philadelphia, 102.9 MGK that boasts that it's a classic rock channel.

And they continually play Tiny Dancer by Elton John.

And in no possible universe is Tiny Dancer a classic rock track.

So you would have preferred maybe the David Gilmore of Reform Theology or the Roger Waters?

Well, possibly, Carl, but to me, you'll always be Elton.
