It's always a thrill for us to chat with designers who are the creators of fashion history's futures.

I mean, they're the ones who are defining fashion history right now for future generations.

And undoubtedly, when it comes to the topic of contemporary kilp making, one of those individuals is today's guest.

We are so pleased to welcome howie Nichols be to the show today.

Howie is a fourth generation kilp maker living and working in Edinburgh where he operates his family's traditional kilp making business, Jeff retailer, kilp makers, as well as his own contemporary kilp making business 21st century kilts now in its 26th year of business.

And cast howie is widely known as one of the best in the biz, having tilted a veritable who's who of stage and screen from Lenny Kravitz to Russell brand to one of my all time favorite DJs, Danny House, who never thought that he would come up on dress.

Here we are.

These are just a few of the celebrities howie has custom kilted that he doesn't mention in our chat.
