This is our last show of the summertime. So

I guess we're bidding farewell and into the fall. That's exciting. That's so depressing. I'm not a

fall fan. Are you a fall fan? I'm a huge fall fan. Yeah, it's a great time. It's a new era.

It's a time to renew and recharge. I do like the clothing. I like fall clothing. I'll give you

that much. But fall is like if Sunday were a season. And I find Sunday is depressing. So there you go.

Well, on today's show, we're going to talk about a really important story, a name that everybody

around the world should know if they care about the issue of Israel,

Palestine, the moral issue of our time. And the name is Marwan Baruti. He is a Palestinian political

prisoner. He's been imprisoned by Israel for more than two decades. And he's widely seen as the most

popular Palestinian leader. And because he's so popular and so charismatic, Israel has locked him up,

tortured him, and subjected his family to a horrible ordeal. And we're going to hear from

Marwan Barghouti's son, Arab Barghouti, about the latest affront to Marwam Barguti by the

Israeli government and why he is so important to the

Palestinian struggle for freedom. And you know, I just want to say like a lot of people

make this stupid, lazy, corny point and they think they're being so smart. They're like,

where's the Palestinian Mandela? Where's the Palestinian Mandela? Well, that's one of the Palestinian Mandela is right there.

And he's in jail.

And a lot of other ones have been killed.

Yeah, I mean, basically, you know, who was Mandela?
