Well, Scripture says this, that Jesus is the exact representation of the Father.

So what you see Jesus do, God does.

What you see Jesus care about, God cares about.

And over and over again, both in the Old Testament and the New Testament, you can clearly see how God cares for the poor. In fact, he goes so far as to say,

if you give to the poor, you lend to the Lord, you lend to me. And I myself will repay you. I want you to

think about that. When we are his hands and feet, when we're tending to the things that he cares about,

it's like we're shouting to the world. This is what God is like. This is who he is. This is

how he is. And this is why it matters so much to him that we tend to those that much of the world

disregards. You know, it's been said that there's enough wealth in our world to end global poverty

in our day. And I believe that's true. Wouldn't that be just something if

we were the generation that says it's enough already? We are going to give out of our resources

for those who have nothing, and we're going to see an end global poverty. Well, that's why I'm
