Hey guys, welcome to season two episode two. Other than freaking out right now because I can't

log into any of my Instagram accounts and can't give you stories. I'm really excited to be

recording this second solo for the second episode. We're going to talk about a few things.

One is toxic friendships. Basically, I mean, everyone has had them. I've had them. I recently wrote

in my advice to myself when I was 22 to, you know, not that that girl that you go out with is not

your friend. So basically, and also they're drilling above as usual, they're never not drilling. So

if you hear that, I'm sorry. But basically, I used to go out with this girl when I had just

graduated from college and she was a year older. All her friends were in relationships at the time.

So she needed people to go out with and I introduced her to all my friends and really made sure that,

you know, she was having a good time and had people and very quickly, she, I had been like,

hooking up with this guy at the time and I would always talk to her about him and she would talk to

me about this guy that she was hooking up with. And then we ended up going on a trip and I wasn't

hooking up with the guy anymore. We had like, just kind of ended, but there were still feelings there.

She ended up flirting with the guy and then ended up dating him. So obviously, I'm not one of those

like blame the girl types. But like, if you talk to someone every day about a guy and then they go

and date them, like, that's pretty fucking nuts. So yeah, that girl was not my friend at all.

Ironically, she ended up with a guy who was also my ex, which is hilarious. But anyway, so, you know,

toxic friendships, like they can happen to the best of us. And also, friends can go through toxic

times with you as well. And like, it can change if they work on themselves, but it also

could not change if they don't. I have a friend who I'm still really close with today who,

at one point, we had a toxic friendship. I felt as if she only wanted to hear the bad stuff that
