All right, everybody. Welcome back to another edition of The Teardown. My name is Jeff Fluck, and I'm

my co-worker Jordan Bianchi. We are

motorsports writers to the athletic. Actually, not just my co-worker, my APSE award-winning

coworker. Jordan was just named one of the, he got the top 10 in the APSEs, which are

the big-time journalism awards in the highest category for his breaking news

efforts. So Jordan, congratulations to you. Very cool. And I am here at Auto Club Speedway. The Xfinity

race is going on. It is Sunday night. The sun is setting in a nice, nice orange, yellowish hue over the mountains.

I'm in what they used to call G2.

This used to be the old driver's meeting room at Auto Club Speedway.

It is currently the quietest place at Auto Club Speedway, the only quiet place, perhaps, as the cars are going on outside.

But we wanted to get you guys this podcast ASAP instead of waiting for after the Xfinity race.

So here we are, Jordan.

We've just watched the finale, the final cup race at Fontana.

It was great. It was everything you want to see out of a race at Fontana. What did you think? It was great.

It was everything you want to see out of a race at Fontana, and you hear a lot about

Fontana, and it's got its wide surface, and drivers can race two, three, four wide, and five

wide sometimes on restarts, and in multi-lanes, and it's really a driver's racetrack, and you

saw all of those characteristics come to fruition today and it was it was the epitome of a great race on a two-mile racetrack it was everything you want and we saw a terrific battle the end of the race was not as good as the beginning and middle stages um you know kow Bush kind of ran away with it at the end,

but it was still a very, very good race.

I mean, to me, it was better than perfectly acceptable, first of all.
