We are headed for a really grim place, not just in Britain, but across the West.

The horrific murder of 18-year-old student Henry Novak by Rickram Diggwa is being ruthlessly

and hideously exploited by reform, by the far right, by racists generally.

Yesterday, the far right, including outright neo-Nazis, rioted in Southampton. Now, just to be clear,

the murder of Henry Novat and his treatment by the police was a disgrace. He was murdered by

Rick and Digwa, a British Sikh who falsely claimed to be a victim of a racist attack. I've watched

the body can footage. It was hideous to watch, the victim of a

stabbing being handcuffed as though he was a criminal as he bled to death. Now, there's more to talk about

in terms of the police. The idea that there is anti-white bias in the police force is absurd,

statistically speaking. It, just a fact.

All the statistics show that it is people of colour, black people, who are treated

disproportionately much worse, whether it be stop in search, whether it be drug offences,

we could go up.

But we'll talk about that another time, because we're talking here about the danger of the far right.

Now, let's listen to what Henry Novak's grieving father said after the sentencing.

We want to use Henry's breathtaking, heartbreaking story to make change for the better.

We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension. We want his story to make our streets safer for everyone.

This is how Reform UK leader, Nigel Farage, responded.

Henry's family have responded to this in just the most extraordinarily dignified way.

But I suggest the rest of us respond to this with pure cold rage.

Cold rage.
