It's the Russians who are pumping out the extreme rightists into Donpas, telling many of them,

saying, if you go, all your sins are forgiven.

But if you don't, there is a nice penal colony for you somewhere in Siberia.

Quite a few of these groups on the far right, European far right, especially, are simply

in Moscow's pocket.

It's really a joint effort between MWI and CTC, the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point.

CTC has recently been working really hard to study the subject of foreign fighters in Ukraine,

and specifically the extent of any

presence of extremists among those foreign fighters. One of the experts whose analysis has been a

really important part of CTC's work on the subject is Casper Reckowick. I had the chance to speak

to him and our conversation explored a range of really important questions. We talked about

whether the war

has attracted extremists to Ukraine, Moscow's leveraging of Russian extremists in the war, and of course,

the well-known Azav regiment. It is a fascinating discussion, but before we get to it, just a few
