The morning text for this morning sermon is Ephesians chapter 3 verses 14 through 21.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,

that according to the riches of His glory, he may grant you to be strengthened with might through his spirit in the inner man.

And that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith,

that you being rooted and grounded in love may have power to comprehend with all the Saints,

what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge that you

may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly

than all that we ask or think. To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and

ever.

I've been reading revelation.

Therefore, when I thought about this image of the seal over this unopened

chapter in our history, I couldn't help but say that my confidence is that on

Saturday night Jesus Christ who was slain and has ransomed men and women for God from

all over this city is going to open this seal. men and

God from all over this city is going to open this seal. And there is going to ride out a white horse.

And on the horse one seated with a sword. And crown will be upon his head and he will ride conquering and to conquer.

That's from chapter six in the book of revelation and the image of that white horse at the blow of the first trumpet

after the seals were opened is the image of the victorious spread of the gospel.

All the other horses are horrible. The first horse is white and victorious.

It is Christ conquering in mission throughout the world.

And I believe that what we're up to at Bethlehem is a part of that
