because the Yankees are only giving up Starling Castro in this trade in terms of actual worth.

The prospects involved are not top tier prospects by any stretch of the imagination for the Yankees.

This is basically theft, but I'll take it as the Yankees fan,

but if I'm another owner of a team I'm ticked off but again Jeter has cover in this case because Stanton turned down offers from the Giants and the Cardinals.

So again, with your options being limited to truly major markets, you're looking at

New York and Boston, and Boston already has their

Outfielders. LA still has a ton of of money tied up in the team so that's a tough sell there in the intro you know I

kind of look at this and say that you know what there's a there's a there's a there's a lot left to settle on the dust but right now the

Yankees made out like bandits so essentially they have Stanton for three years and 77 million because the

Marlins are picking up part of his contract so he's only being paid and I say this only is kind of a joke, but he's only being paid 26.5 million dollars now per year.

But, you know, from a Yankee perspective, you absolutely take this deal.

Now, I know there are some folks who were saying that maybe you might have been better off

kind of waiting out the Orioles or the Nationals to do a trade but again if

you waited out you're going to give up more prospects.

The Yankees didn't give up any real top tier prospects to the Marlins and they also still got the Marlins

kicking a little bit of salary on this so again this works out brilliantly for the

Yankees I mean yes Castro was a nice player for us, but we have prospects of Glebartore,
