Lot to talk about but not enough time. So we're just going to have to stick with the Cubs national debacle last night for game five a lot went on in that game and went completely different

direction I was expecting it to but who therea, this one's going to be talked about in Washington for years, mainly because this was probably the night that their window officially shut.

Maybe they get a chance next year,

but with Harper being a free agent at the end of the 2018 season,

that loss last night is going to be a franchise killer, potentially, just based off of how everything went down.

So to recap, how the game went essentially we had a change in plans by the Nationals going with

Geo Gonzalez for game five instead of Max Scherzer. I thought, and a number of other people thought

shares her was going Game 5. We'll get to that in a bit. But it ended up being Geo and Hendrix going for the Cubs in game five.

Neither pitcher was on top of the game.

Hendrix ran into some issues where the Nationals lineup was kind of geared up for what he was going to throw up, the junk, and he wasn't able to hit his spots the way he was in

in terms of earlier on the series so with a game one and so I mean

realistically I mean realistically for the Cubs they got away with fun because Hendrix wasn't good. He gave up the big Homer to Michael Taylor, which I had an issue with because I still say it,

I had a couple of arguments with people on it, but you know, ideally at the end of the day you would

rather face the pitcher with the bases loaded, even if there's no outs, then put on, to take your chances with a guy who was swinging a hot

bat, hit a grand slam off your best reliever because Wade Davis had a game last night,

but you know they rolled the dice they paid for it with the three-run

bomb Taylor hit but you know my thing is Taylor was a plus war player this year.

Didn't get nearly as many at bats as he probably should have,
