Can you tell us what is the difference between the players on franchise tags this year than in other years?

Well, Christina, it's fascinating because there are eight players on franchise tags this year.

Seven of them already have signed long-term deals and the last that hasn't,

T. Higgins, signed his franchise tender just recently. So usually summer vacation comes to a

crashing halt right around mid-July. That's the time we come back and we come back because we

want to document all the franchise

players negotiating franchise deals right before the deadline. There's usually a flurry of deals

two, three, four deals getting done mid-July. And it comes very quickly. Here's July 4th. Now is the franchise tagged deadline with long-term

extensions, and then you get another week reprieve before training camps begin. But this year,

all the drama that comes along with that, usually, it's non-existent because you've got all
