The breakout offense of 2023 will be that more this week on The Couch. Kyle Draard,

Bauer. Long time overdue. Welcome. Yes sir. Thank you for having me. This is a great opportunity.

And yeah, I have three offenses that I want to talk about for breakouts. The first one I'm going to

get out of the way. It's kind of an obvious one, but it's got to be the LA chargers, right? They have

everything going for them lined up perfectly this season. We can list a ton of excuses for last

year, whether it's the Herbert injury, the offensive line. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams both

missed chunks of time last year. And if we look at, basically like when I started to look into

the breakout offenses, I looked at 2022 offensive situations. Chargers were second most in plays.

They had eighth total yards. But they were 17th in yards per play. So there's a huge discrepancy

there in their efficiency. I think we're going to see a lot of a lot more big plays. Of course,

I haven't even said the big name yet. That's Kevin Moore. And when I looked at Kevin Moore's

numbers, you know, with his last poor season with Dallas, things really popped because

obviously offensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022. In those four years, they as a passing team,

they averaged 610 passing attempts, almost 4,600 yards per season and 31 touchdowns. Now,

the kicker with that stat is deck only played in 74% of those games. So even when tacked in play,

they were still putting up good passing numbers. And then in the two seasons that deck played

full seasons, 2019 and 2021, Dallas ranked sixth in plays. They ranked second in plays. And they

also ranked first in yards per play and third in yards per play. So I think, again, I mentioned the
