Summary
Host Ian Hartitz breaks down Zach Wilson's fantasy outlook ahead of the 2021 season. Wilson was excellent at throwing to all levels of the field at BYU; the question is whether or not his playmaking ability will hold up with a lesser offensive line against stiffer competition. Luckily, the Jets have seemingly improved each of their o-line, WR room and coaching staff. Add it all together and Wilson remains an unknown, but there might be more upside here than many are giving him. Ian closes out the podcast with Wilson's ranking as well as his thoughts on how to best optimize a two-TV setup in your living room.

| 0:00.0 | I'm your host Ian Hartis and today we continue our fancy file series with a look at Zach Wilson. |
| 0:18.3 | Jets hopeful savior BYU baller. This guy rose up draft boards. I would not blame you if |
| 0:23.5 | you did not know who he was this time 12 months ago. Now we do. He is the man tasked with |
| 0:29.3 | bringing the Jets back to the promised land at least maybe being a somewhat relevant team |
| 0:33.9 | in the NFL would at least be a good first step. So let's go through what exactly makes |
| 0:38.9 | Wilson what most should kind of think of him as a fancy asset in the year 2021. So if |
| 0:44.5 | you didn't watch Wilson much at BYU, here's a quote about Wilson from PFFs always fantastic |
| 0:49.5 | 2021 draft guy, courtesy of Mike Renner. Call him a one you wonder if you must. The Zach |
| 0:55.3 | Wilson's accent isn't near the same as Joe Burrows a season ago Wilson was out here earning |
| 1:00.3 | an 80.5 overall grades of true freshman in 2018 while leading a team full of adults at BYU. |
| 1:06.0 | A shoulder injury and hand injury limited him in 2019 before he lit college football on fire |
| 1:10.6 | this past fall. Plus with a snappy right arm Wilson has thrown past as far as 65 yards |
| 1:15.5 | through the air this season against Western Kentucky to be exact with little more than |
| 1:19.1 | a flick. He can not only make all the throws, but he can also make them accurately. And |
| 1:23.4 | that is I guess the big case for Wilson on overall passing. He had a PFF grade 95.5 and |
| 1:30.2 | or me it throws 93.9 deep balls 99.9. You look at the highlights for this guy and I mean |
| 1:36.8 | they will take a lonely fancy analyst from six to midnight in a hurry people. Seriously, |
| 1:43.3 | ridiculous throws weekend week out. And then you notice who he's playing against and |
| 1:47.4 | that sort of things get concerned because for Wilson, the one red flag was that he wasn't |
| 1:51.4 | only forced to deal with pressure all that often and when he did, he only had a 74.1 grade |
| 1:56.5 | kept clean. He was at 96.5. Every quarterback is better when they're kept clean versus |
| 2:01.8 | under pressure. For some weird reason, Justin Herbert actually was better under pressure |
