our fantasy file series with a look at none other than AJ Brown. If you have listened

to this podcast before, you have undoubtedly heard myself and probably plenty of the

AJB wider seabed one season really since he got handed not handed since he earned the

starting job that really should have been his from day one, but it actually took the Titans

about six weeks to give it to him back in 2019. I mean, it really is funny when he

look back. I mean, Brown, it was just almost like spinning the picture for like what we

should expect from Brown, even his first like six games in the league. Week one of his

first ever NFL game, the Brown side that have Denzo Ward, travel a Corey Davis and Brown

accordingly turns his four targets in the three catches for a hundred yards, a couple

weeks later, the face in the Falcons, Brown cut three targets. He caught them all for 94

yards and two touchdowns after that Brown was done playing under 50% of the offensive

snaps. So, you know, all Taiwan Taylor, Tajay Sharper, whoever it was holding packed Brown

for about four weeks aside, ever since he's gotten this job again, he's just been one of

the NFL's best wide receivers. There's no if ands or butts about it. The only reason why

you maybe don't think of him that way is because he doesn't have massive counting statistics.

He's been really good. And he also missed two games earlier in 2020 dealing with a knee

injury. If you didn't see, he actually had to have surgery on both knees after the season.

So, it's even crazier that he put up these numbers the way he did. But in 2019, as a rookie,

52 catches, 1,000 51 yards, eight touchdowns and 2020 70 catches, 1,075 yards, 11 touchdowns.

Great numbers. I just, I get it though. It's not numbers that you would just immediately
