Today we were talking with one of the most important, if not the most important figures in fantasy basketball

history.

This is Rick Kamla.

He's currently laying down the law with Antonio Daniels and one of my favorite shows on

NBA Radio The Give and Go, his shows on NBA radio, The Give and Go.

His show on NBA TV throughout the early 2000s

was in my opinion the big bang of fantasy hoops.

It was definitely my entry point in the game,

but after you get beyond how massive the show was for the development of the game and the industry itself, what I think people watching that show appreciated the most was just how the analysis was clobbering everything else.

I know when my friends and I wanted to talk serious hoops, this was the show that we felt delivered the best talking points for us to argue about basketball.

And I don't even think we were playing fantasy basketball at the time. So needless to say, it's an honor and a privilege to have one of the faces of fantasy basketball's Mount Rushmore on the show.
