Coming to you from a hotel room in awesome Texas on Saturday, September 21st, Two Oceans 13.

Yesterday was day two of Fantastic Fest at the Lakeline Alamo Draft House, and the day got off to an interesting start when I attended the 11 a.m. screening of the

filmed inside Disney World without permission, but apparently Disney has no plans to sue movie,

Escape from Tomorrow.

For reasons I won't get into, because it's kind of spoilery.

They gave everyone a shot of Jack Daniels before the film started,

and after the movie, you could go out in the parking lot to a tent and get a massage from a lady

dressed like a Disney princess. I passed on the massage because that felt a little creepy,

but I took the shot, and that was a good call because

Escape from Tomorrow is a weird-ass movie. Dare I even say, it's a goofy movie. I liked it a lot,

but mostly because of the ball's determination and logistical planning that it took to shoot

an entire feature film in an amusement park without permission

while it was open. Oh, and this is definitely not for emetaphobes. Vomiting and violent vomiting

is a well that gets returned to on multiple occasions, one of which is right after some of the

characters go on the ride, Space Mountain. next up was my 420 douglas movies

for mini boneheads while i talk about the possibility of elijah wood showing up on the podcast

he never does because of other promotional obligations.

He even tweeted his regret at not getting to participate. But I had a lot of fun with guests
