Today's episode is about the tragic loss of four lives, but a heroic stop to the loss of what likely would have been many others.

I feel like any time we hear about serial killers, they're always a

little older, more established, and that's why they're called serial killers, right? Because

they've killed more than once. In this case, although there are four victims, the killer was only

20 years old at the time of his arrest. Four murders by 20 years

old. Can you even imagine how many more there would have been if he hadn't been caught by, say,

the age of 40? This episode is perhaps another cautionary tale to always be careful of your surroundings

and to never think you know what a murderer might look like.

This episode is about the case and trial of one of Canada's youngest serial killers.

Music serial killers. It was a Saturday night around 9.45 p.m. on November 27th, 2010. A constable with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police,

Aaron Callagher, a rookie officer, was driving down Highway 27 near Vanderhoof, B.C. He was returning

from an accident scene when he saw a black 2004 GMC pickup truck speeding out from an old remote logging road.

It sped out onto the highway and Kellehar began following it.
