We just finished a really fun series there on

Peter, in the life of Peter in healing, Healing so just want to draw our listeners attention to that and today we're diving into another series on what I guess we'll call family wounds or wounds from caregivers or I don't know what we'll figure out I guess what we're going to call it as we go along with it but I think where we're head is we're going to talk on the next few episodes here about the wounds that come from fathers,

the wounds that come from mothers, and then the wounds that come from their marriage.

And so today we're going to talk a little bit of an introduction

about just the general principles of these wounds

and how deep and important they are.

And then we're going to, for the second kind of part of this episode, we're going to talk about father wounds and then mother wounds and then wounds from the marriage. So, Bob, our quote today comes from the catechism paragraph 239 and it says the language of faith thus draws on the

human experience of parents who are in a way the first representatives of God for man.

I know when I first read that I felt a deep confirmation of something that I knew in my heart and boy it's always nice when you find that your heart matches with their stitches and you're on to the right path, you know?

What strikes you about that hearing it again?

We've probably heard this a thousand times,

but what strikes you about it hearing it again today?

that, you know, we come to know God through our parents and you know before they teach us anything it's it's how they relate to us if
