I ask that the praise they have given to me that you make me better than that praise.

And I ask that the sins that I have that they don't know that you forgive me those sins.

And I ask that this praise that they do.

You don't cause it to be against me on the day of judgment.

I make that same dua to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.

May Allah grant me a Khlas in all that I do and forgive my sins.

And as I accept this award graciously and humbly, I pray that this is the beginning of bigger

and better rewards.

Because while I am humbled to accept this reward, the ultimate reward that I'm looking forward

to.

This is to be given my book in the right hand on the day of judgment.

That is the ultimate reward.

And it would be remiss of me to not mention my parents and all that they have done for

me, for I would not be here today.

And I would not be the person that I am.

And I would not have undertaken the journey that I have undertaken.

And it not been for their upbringing and their tarbiyah and their love and their dedication.

And for your information, my father is one of the founding members of Iqna.

And I am a part of the Iqna family.

In fact, I was looking back.

The first Iqna convention I attended was almost 35 years ago as a teenager.
