I just remember having chills in being both scared and confused because the way that she presented it to me was sort of in this calming assured way like oh no it's better now because she said I was Anita one and now I'm

Anita two. That's Nina St. Pierre reliving the haunting moment in which her mother revealed an entirely new identity.

I just didn't know how to make sense of it. It was really frightening, but then what was I to do,

but just trust this new old person.

There's this funny thing about how when somebody controls them out of oxygen you can have then everybody is going to

fight to breathe and that's how it felt in that household. We were all sort of fighting

to breathe and live a little longer and sometimes fighting each other.
