Lee came to me with a thorny financial slash legal slash accounting problem

a few months ago, specifically pertaining to something called a family protection trust.

As I was able to answer, just one specific question that he was dealing with, but the wider issue

that he and his wife B have faced is actually shared by tens of

thousands of other people up and down the UK. So I asked him to come on to the show to discuss it

okay let's get into my conversation with lee jackson about family protection trusts it is my

absolute pleasure to introduce my great friends to the Meaningful Money podcast. And we've got quite a bit to go through. But I'm going to ask Lee to introduce himself first. How you doing, bud? Welcome. Good, Pete. All right. Yeah, yeah. I'm cool. Thanks. Just give us a shout. Who are you? Quick bio. and maybe just even mention how we know each other.

Okay. Lee Jackson, I'm 50. I live in Cornwall with my beautiful wife, Pete. We've got two

granddaughters and we run a dance school. And that's... And Pete and his lovely wife, Joe,

are outstanding pupils of ours. Are kind cracking job but yeah i mean

we've been what dancing under your tutelage since uh easter 2018 incredibly right seven years

yeah 18 month break for covid of course but um and we're very shortly about to head to talkie

for the annual dance weekend which was super excited excited about. We're loving anew.

So, Lee and I have been talking for a little while because he and his wife B, got sort of mixed up in a situation

through absolutely no full of their own, but which has become like a huge deal nationally, hasn't it?

So do you want to just sort of explain how you came to be involved with McClure

solicitors, so how that whole started?
