Well, when you prayed for us, it smelled great. Really kind of hungry. It was funny. Anyway, let's dive into today's topic.

We're talking about parenting each kid differently, and this is a parenting concept. I've honestly not really heard many people talk about.

Okay, so some context. If you've listened to the show for a minute, we have three kids, age 13, now 12, one just turned 12 yesterday, and then we have a soon to be nine-year-old little baby, a little girl.

And our kid just had a birthday party, right? And I was thinking of this as something I've known forever being a parent and a therapist, and it was just a really stark kind of contrast of, wait a minute.

We have to do, or we got to do the other, this kid's birthday differently. You know what I'm saying? And we are leaning into his strengths. It's what we should always do as parents, and it's taken us a while to kind of get there.

Maybe I should refer him that and say, it's taken me a while to get there, right?
