John chapter 2, verse 1. John chapter 2, verse number 1. And for sake of time, I'm going to jump

right into the scriptures and read in just a

moment. If you're just joining us, we are in the fourth installment. This is the fourth week of a

series that we're going through called True Values, and we're talking together as a community,

as a church, about the values that we should have.

I just wanna say that even this last week,

once again, the political landscape is just in chaos.

So many accusations, so many wars and rumors of wars

and everything that's shifting in our society.

And we want to, as a people of God,

we wanna know what to value, what to build our lives on,

what to build our families on, our businesses on.

And we're talking about not just our community values, but we're talking about God's values.

And I just say this, whatever God values, we value.

If it's important to God, it's important to us. So all of a sudden,

when you become a Christian, poor people become important to you because they matter to God.

Widows and orphans become important to you because they matter to God. All of humanity

becomes important because if it's important, if God values it, we value it.

We talked about subjects like money, talked about subjects like serving last Sunday.

I want to talk today on Mother's Day.
