So the real pronunciation of it is Janocopolis. Okay. That's like the real Greek version. Okay. But when my great, great, great

maybe great grandfather came from Greece. They Americanized it to Janakis. Okay. To make it to make it easier yet still nobody can say it correctly.

Literally no. Really? Okay. So I'm not the only one. Oh no. Every like even like that shows people will come up and they'll be like,

Hey man, like we want to make sure we say your name right? Like how do you pronounce it? And I'm like, Janakis.

Janakis. Janakis. And they'll look me dead in the face and be like, Janakis. And I'm like, yes. And they'll get up and be like,

and now from season 16 of the voice and has a hit record gone too soon on TikTok, Andrew, Janakis. I'm like,

what just we just talked 32 seconds ago. What happened? What happened between like 30 seconds and like all the time?

It's actually it was so bad like growing up and you you probably grew up like me like having like house

phones on the wall. Yes. I do remember that. It was almost it was almost before my time. We were we were right at it for sure.

And when we got home from school, my dad would be like, all right. Like you and your sister are going to be there for about 45 minutes to your mom get home.

If the phone rings, if they don't know how to say our last name, hang up. So I swear all the time when I was growing up, I'd be like,

I'd like, you know, you'd hear it at the front door when you're trying to get in. Yeah. And I'd like run up the stairs and be like,

hello. It's Ted Janakis. I'd be like, nope. I just hang up. I was like, yeah, baby.

Look at how to say the name. That's amazing. I can't do that now. I can't shut people out now.

No. No, you can't cancel it. Yeah. You'd be like, no, that's not how you say it. Bye. Bye.

No. So, okay. So you just touched on it. Season 16 of the voice. Yeah. We're on. And how was that experience?

It was good. It was, you know, doing a show like that is great exposure to be able to, you know,

no matter where you make it, even if you just make it through an audition and it airs on TV, like that's

TV time. Yeah. Like you could take that momentum and, you know, work with it and use it. And, you know,

I was lucky enough to go to like the top 27, top 28. So I made it to the first round of live shows.
