If you haven't listened to it yet, here is part two where they dive in a little bit more

about marriage and family.

Mike, you guys talked about working together with budgets and the finance aspect of it,

but how does that spill over into other areas of marriage?

Give us your wisdom on that.

Yeah, you know, marriage is difficult.

And I think sometimes we expect it to just be all rosy and all perfect.

And Randy and I were dating and we're in that infatuation stage, the honeymoon phase.

Yeah, everything's great, but then you get married and you have kids and you have bills

and responsibilities.

And it's hard and it's a real, real challenge.

And so I think any couple has to go through that period where they're learning how to

be a spouse, a good spouse.

And that's tough.

And so I think, you know, there's going to be some bruises.

It's kind of like the bike with the training wheels.

You get to this point where you've got to take the training wheels off and be big kids

when you're married.

And inevitably you're going to have some scuffed knees.

And you don't throw the bike away.
