Summary

How long should you wait to begin dating after the death of your spouse? On this installation of RPA's Famboogie, we answer this question by discussing the shocking debate between Comedian Owen Benjamin and homesteader Curtis Stone. We also discuss the Cracker Barrel controversy...did the retail chain go "woke" or is the Right overacting. We also discuss the death of MSNBC (R.I.P.).

So let's talk a little bit about this cracker barrel controversy or non-traversy. Well, before we get started, though, have you ever been to a cracker barrel? I've been by them. Really? I don't think I've ever even seen one. Where are they? There's one not far from us. Is it a California thing? It's a, I think it's all over the country. I think there's 700 or so retail spots. Wait, what? Yeah, there's a bunch. You're blowing my mind. I've never even seen one. So they came out, you know, they've been around, I think, since 19, I want to say 69 or 8, something like that, late 60s. Okay. So they've been around for a minute. It had a logo, kind of this logo that was, um, it, it looked very, I would say non-refined kind of a logo. It has a guy. You end up learning that it's the guy's uncle that started the business, I believe. It also has a cracker barrel, which I think is like the standard kind of big barrels that you see that actually held crackers in it back in the day.

2:10.6

So the controversy starts, I guess recently they released their new logo.

2:17.5

And their new logo basically takes out the cracker in the cracker barrel, which I mean is it takes out the guy, the uncle.

2:26.1

And it takes away the barrel and him sitting in a chair.

2:30.0

And it's just this kind of, you know, stripped down logo.
