0:00.0	Hey everybody, welcome back to Eyes on the Right podcast. This is Amy. I've taken off a week. I've missed you guys. I hope you all are doing well. And yeah, I took off a week.

0:31.9	I'm with my family and it's been wonderful just to have a reprieve.
0:36.1	But I'm back and I want to talk about some things today.
0:37.9	And so I hope you guys are ready for this podcast because I want to touch on the recent debate of Pastor Greg Lach and Pastor Dean Odle. But I also
0:44.6	want to move in to this idea of what a false teacher looks like. There's a lot of people out there
0:50.8	really going overboard about who's a false teacher, who isn't. Are we even called
0:57.4	to quote unquote call out people that we believe are false teachers? And what does scripture say
1:03.8	about this? I think we have to go back to the basics, stand on the word of God and view the world
1:09.2	from the biblical lens. Because if we don't, then we're leaning
1:13.2	on our own understanding, on our own insight. And that will always lead us down a path of confusion.
1:19.9	And I've been finding a lot of people reaching out to me, asking me, should I listen to this person?
1:25.8	Is this person somebody that I should follow? I feel so confused
1:29.8	because one person says one thing. I listen to this podcast and they say one thing and then I
1:35.5	listen to another podcast or look at another social media page or listen to another pastor
1:40.2	and they say something completely different. And guys, this leads to confusion. It leads to
1:47.2	stress. It leads to people questioning their faith. And so I really want to touch on that today.
