over the years. Alexis Sharkey's followers only saw the best times, fun with

friends, professional achievements, and glamorous trips. But in 2020, her life quickly

took a dark turn, hidden behind the idyllic images posted on social media.

This is the last chapter in the series falling stars.

Instagram star Alexis Sharkey. On Saturday morning November 28 28, 2020, a Houston Texas sanitation worker was driving along the I-10 freeway near Katie, Texas, when he saw what appeared to be a mannequin under a clump of bushes along the side of the road.

Curious, he pulled over and took a closer look at what appeared to be feet and legs poking out from underneath.

As he walked closer, his heart began to pound,

and chills ran through him when he realized it was a body.

Unwilling to approach on his own, he called his supervisor John Richardson and reported his suspicion.

Richardson met him and together they drove back to check it out.

Richardson, later interviewed by K-H-U-11 news, described the scene.

Quote, we could see the feet.

We got out and looked, and there it was.
