| 0:44.4 | something known as all or nothing thinking. So an example of this is that |
| 0:50.8 | let's say you're on a diet and you have you know a little cheat meal or you have a few |
| 0:57.8 | chips which you weren't supposed to eat and let's say you were on this diet for six months |
| 1:02.1 | now you feel like oh I didn't a car And let's say you were on this diet for six months. |
| 1:02.7 | Now you feel like, oh, I didn't accomplish anything. |
| 1:06.4 | It's like either I'm 100% on the diet or I get nothing. |
| 1:11.2 | And then what happens? |
| 1:12.0 | We get discouraged and we start to not want to continue our goal. |
| 1:17.0 | I work with a lot of clients and substance abuse and I had a client one time. had a relapse which is not uncommon in recovery. |

| 1:34.8 | let's not just discount that and just say no it's either all or nothing, I'm never |
