We are presently engaged in a three-part series on the Latin phrase Imago Day or the image of God.

Everybody say Imago Day? It's really fun to say it has all sorts of good syllables there and it means the image of God. Everybody say imbago day? It's really fun to say it has all sorts of good

syllables there and it means the image of God. And here's what we're doing. We're looking at the

various eras on the kingdom calendar from creation to the new creation. You have a timeline

on the very top of your notes that's going to get

you up to speed on what we studied last time.

We have three fall sessions and we're doing it in such a way that we are going to the Old

Testament, the deepest part and the very beginning of creation in our last session.

Today we're going to pick up in the next segment where there's a fresh revelation

of Imago Day. And then in our last meeting together, in our last session, our third and final

part in our three-part series, we're going to see how the Amago Day jumps off that page and by way

of the Holy Spirit takes place in us, the people of God.

That's everything we started here together.

The verse I gave you from the very beginning, I'm just going to read it to you, you don't

need to turn there for now.

But the one that got my mind going toward this particular series was the NET version of

Ephesians 4, 22, and 24.

It says, you were taught with reference to your former way of life,

to lay aside the old man, which is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires,

...
